About Dr. Grace
Dr. Grace Vuoto is the host of American Heartland with Dr. Grace, a weekly talk radio show live on WRKO 680 AM, Saturday mornings from eight to nine in Boston. The program features Dr. Grace's commentaries on politics, foreign policy and popular culture; newsmaker interviews with prominent personalities and leaders, and interaction with callers from around the nation. American Heartland has been on the airwaves since July 2013, beginning as a weekly show on WTSB 1090 AM in North Carolina. Due to its success and popularity, it was launched on April 4, 2016 as a daily program on the Salem Media Group; the show was nationally syndicated into Raleigh, Pittsburgh, Seattle and Houston. American Heartland with Dr. Grace is now on Boston's flame-thrower station, the legendary WRKO.
Dr. Grace is also the editor of politics and culture at WorldTribune.com, for which writes regular columns. She is the founder of the Edmund Burke Institute, was its executive director from June, 2005 to June, 2013 and the editor of its flagship publication, Reflections. The institute was created to encourage women and minorities to join the conservative movement.
Dr. Grace Vuoto has had a dynamic career as a professor, scholar, editor, columnist and talk radio correspondent. She is the executive producer of Senior Safe Money Strategies with Bill Kelly on WRKO 680 AM. She was also the executive producer of the daily radio talk show, The Kuhner Show on WTNT 530 am in Washington D.C. (2010). She wrote a weekly column for The Washington Times, "On Base with Grace," and was editor of Base News, a project of The Washington Times for the military community (2009). She was an editorial writer at The Washington Times (2008). She was Assistant Professor of Modern British and European History at Howard University in Washington, D.C. (2002-2006). She taught at Virginia Commonwealth University (2001-2002) and McGill University (1996-2000). She specializes in intellectual, diplomatic and imperial history.
This prolific writer has contributed articles and/or book reviews to World Tribune, Reflections, The Washington Times, Insight on the News, Human Events, The Ripon Forum, World and I and The Journal of Canadian History. Dr. Grace married her high school sweetheart, Jeff Kuhner, in 1996. They live in Massachusetts and are blessed to be the proud parents of two beautiful children.
